EssayAce.co.uk is a relatively new UK-based writing service that caters to UK students, from the secondary through graduate school levels. In preparing this EssayAce review, we looked at all of the factors that we use in evaluating any writing service – the content and usability of the website, pricing, Essay Ace testimonials, sample writings, writer expertise, and Essay Ace student reviews that we have been able to find off-site. We also have evaluated the quality of a research paper we ordered, relative to structure, composition, and resources. Based on all of these things, we are then able to give an EssayAce.co.uk rating that is objective and based on facts.

Quality and Services Offered

We first looked at the website content itself. The company promises high quality writing for students at all levels, and the chance for them to upgrade the writing by requesting “higher quality” standards (2:1, 2:2, Premium) at higher prices. Essays, term papers, reviews, research works and projects, and all other types of academic coursework assignments are offered.

An issue that we saw right away was the poor grammar and composition of the site content itself. While the company states that it only uses UK writers with degrees and writing experience, we wonder why it did not at least use one of those writers to create the site content. It is poorly written and raises a “red flag” right away. The sample essays/papers reflected the same compositional errors.

Writers and Customer Support Agents

There is very little information about the writers other than the company statement that they are all highly qualified experts. We can only judge writer quality by the products they produce.

We contacted support agents with several questions. First, we asked about the fact that the company states it provides writing services for students all over the world. We asked if the company converted the British pound pricing into other currencies and were told “no.” Then we were told that it did not accept orders from the U.S.

We placed our order anyway and paid in British pounds, through the conversion services of our bank card company. It doesn’t seem that these agents have a lot of knowledge about the company and what the company states on its site.

We also asked about an EssayAce.com BBB membership. No one knew. We did not find a membership in our research.

Still, we did receive our paper and it was delivered on time. Therefore, we can say that Essay Ace is safe.

Pricing and Discounts

EssayAce prices are all quoted in British pounds, but credit card holders will have these amounts automatically converted upon payment. Our 8-page paper was the equivalent of about $90 in USD (71.92 in British pounds). This is very low in comparison to other writing services. And there are EssayAce.com discounts of 15% given to all new customers, by adding Essay Ace promo codes into their order forms. We did not find any other type of EssayAce coupon code.

Additional Freebies and Features

Essay Ace provides the same cluster of pages that most other services do – title, outline, bibliography. It also states that it proofreads and checks for plagiarism before wending out a piece. On the order form, however, there is an extra fee for a plagiarism check. This should be corrected – one way or the other, folks.

Conclusions

Quality is the largest concern with this writing service. Given the cheap costs, it is hard to believe that qualified writers would work for the amount they are being paid at the prices being charged customers. The other issue relates to their support agents, who do not seem to be well versed on exactly what the company provides. We have assign an Essay.com rating of “Fair” at best. Students would be well advised to pay more and get something they will be able to submit.
